Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in her role on the AMC series Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School after her family relocated to Ohio towards the end of 1970. The actress attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre as a student at Northwestern University. Anna began her journey working in theatres of the Chicago area for several years. Her next move was to TV and film. Anna's first major role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest In a number of TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's In 1992, she landed the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood over two complete seasons. Skyler played the character in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and several other films were also starring her. Gunn appeared on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Also, she appeared in Numbered Day, a podcast comprised of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad's story is often focused on the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The straining relationship and its eventual ending is reminiscent of the last years of Walter White's life.
