The family was raised and born in Pennsylvania Molly started her professional career at age thirteen at Philadelphia the Prince Music Theater in a production called The Snow Queen. The role she played was Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production for which she was awarded a Barrymore Award nomination. She went on to reprise her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at age 15 with Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly appeared in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2004). Then she attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Religious Studies. In the year 2000, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. After graduating Molly appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway plays including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater as well as in a few television work including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly played in the in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and in 2010 Westport Country Playhouse's production of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly's best-known performance is that of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) where she plays Ali the 17-year-old daughter. Also, she was a part of Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
