Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor as well as Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July of 2003. Prior to joining FOX News Channel, Colby was a reporter at CNN and also served as anchor and reporter for CBS News and as anchor fill-in to CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is licensed as an attorney for New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. In 2002, she received the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her coverage of the 9/11 attacks. In addition, she was awarded the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 and the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Star To Follow". Colby is an attorney who, along with her professional career as a journalist, also worked for more than 10 years in private practice. Her legal practice started with an Hollywood entertainment company that assigned her for The Tonight Show. In her early 20s, Colby was working as a journalist and host for Johnny Carson, both during the renewal of his contract with NBC alongside him as well as during his divorce. From January of 2015, Colby has served as host and reporter on the Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance. This show covers bizarre or unexpected legacies left behind by loved ones or relatives
