Uma Karuna Thurman, an American actress, gained notoriety because of her performance as Mia Wallace in"Pulp fiction," the film with a darker comedy "Pulp fiction'. The role of Thurman in the movie made her one of the top Hollywood stars. She's an actor who is committed, who isn't afraid to lose her glamourous image. Her role as a defiant character on The Kill Bill movie series earned her many awards. Born into the family of people known for their unconventional ways of life and was blessed with an Hindu name and the Buddhist childhood. The tall, lanky woman whom people criticized by her big feet and angular body as she grew older and had a slim frame. Although she's now known for her beautiful appearance, there was a time when she was highly insecure of her own body and appearance. It was through acting that she found comfort and took part in dramatics in high school. Believing that she was meant to become an actor, she left the school when she was 15, to begin pursuing an acting profession.
