She accepted, thinking that she would be able to make use of the cash for pocket money. The modeling business proved fun and lucrative, and shortly after, she started doing it professionally. Contracts for modeling led to commercial projects that would see her around the world. When she saw her acting talent her work, she was urged to get into modeling. At age 19, she was referred to London, where she won the audition to be in A View to a Kill ( 1985) an upcoming James Bond movie. Her love for acting was such that she considered pursuing a career this field. Her first movie was followed by a series of TV productions in London and Dublin. Then, her breakthrough came in 1989 when she played the role of Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
